Cell Rush FAQ
Quick answers about playing, accounts, progression and the arena.
Is Cell Rush free?
Yes. The game is free to play in a modern browser.
Do I need an account?
No. Guest play starts immediately. A Shring account is useful for persistent progression, Google or email sign-in, account recovery and owned skins.
How do split cells recombine?
Each split piece has a cooldown. When that expires, move your pieces together. They can overlap and will merge into a larger cell.
Can I feed the green viruses?
Yes. Eject mass into a virus with W. The seven visible indicators fill as it charges; a fully fed virus launches in the direction of the final feed. Viruses are still dangerous at the 16-cell cap because they trigger a mass-losing overload.
How does Rush work?
Hold Shift on desktop or the Rush button on mobile for an 18% speed increase. Rush consumes 0.35% of current mass per second and turns off when your mass becomes too low.
Are skins pay-to-win?
No. Skins are cosmetic and do not alter speed, mass, eating range or any other gameplay value.
What browsers are supported?
Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari are recommended. Hardware acceleration should remain enabled for the smoothest canvas rendering.
